Life Groups
We have 2 "Life" groups which run weekly. One group is for school years 7-9 and runs on Thursdays from 7-8:30pm, and the other is for school years 10+ and runs on Wednesdays from 7:30-9pm.
These groups are a time for young people to meet up and play games, have food, chat with each other, and look into the Bible, the Christian faith, and some of life’s big, tough questions. This group is open to anyone at any stage of faith – whether you’ve been going to church for years, or want to look into the idea a bit more.
Both groups run in the upper room at Capel Methodist Church. Feel free to pop along to see what the group is like, or if you want to know more, feel free to contact our youth worker, Caitlan.

Live Wires
Live Wires (for ages up to 11) meet each Sunday morning except for occasional services where we have an All Age Worship service. There is crèche provision for the younger ones. The group starts at approximately 10.50am (after a time of worship with the whole church together) when they enjoy a time of crafts and teaching relevant to their age group.
The co-ordinators are Judy Steward and Margaret Sankey.

Open the Book
We have an "Open the Book" team, which goes into Capel Primary School assemblies on the first Friday of every month in term time to tell the children dramatised Bible stories. The team loves dressing up, using home-made props, and children and staff alike look forward to the team's visits.
